Bathroom Interruptus
It seems that every morning is different, in some aspects and the same in others. This morning was no different, I was getting ready in the bathroom doing my hair, and my sister, who when I walked in the bathroom was picking at her face says "I need to brush my teeth". The only thing going through my head was 'WHAT? You have not brushed your teeth?' It was a half an hour before she had to be at work and she did not even brush her teeth. What had she been doing the past 45 minutes that she had been up? Why was it now, that I was in the middle of doing something that she realized that she needed to brush her teeth.
"There is an order." she said, Yeah, a bad one. "How is that order working for you?" my mom asked. For her it probably worked fine, for me it sucked. Lucky for her that today is my late day, I wake up at the same time but I have an extra hour to get ready. I was nice enough to move away from the sink and let her use it.
You'd think that she would be smart enough to actually get moving when she gets up in the morning so that she is not in other peoples way. If she did that she would be on time every day, instead she was late, left the house a little after eight and she needed to be at work at eight.
And this happens almost every morning, wake-up get dressed, start for the bathroom, and minutes later there is some excuse or another "I need to get in the shower" "I need to brush my teeth"...today was no different then any other day, I kind of just wish it would change and not interrupt me.
