Back on top of things
On Thursday Gram and I did some more scrapbooking, this time Gram did some reading on the couch. I tried to be quiet while she read. Once I had done a few pages, Gram and I went to see Gramp and let him see what I had done. He enjoyed them. :)
I think that I have made Gram so tired the past few days, because again while I was scrapbooking she took a little nap. We decided to look for some inspiration for the prom pages, so we went upstairs and tried looking for the pages Gram had made for Joliene and Bri for their dances. We had very little luck, we found one of Joliene's that said "Gram's Little Princess" and I do not think we found any other from Prom, we did find recital's and performances. I made a mess of this room, there was stuff all along one side of the couch, some on the end table, and there was a trash can for paper ends, and Gram's bucket of scrapbooking stuff. What a mess.
Once the pool was filled, it then needed to be filtered and cleaned out since it was sitting out all night being filled with no cover, and sitting in a garage or storage for the past couple years. Marion said that by Friday it would be filled, and so hopefully by tomorrow it will be. There have been some hot days, and the pool will make it cool down.
Tonight the Shirley's came over yet again, and Mariah taught the rest of us how to play Lucky Unders. A one deck game where everyone gets 3 cards face down, 3 cards face up and deal the rest to hands. There is a reason it is called Lucky unders, you have to be really lucky to play the right card that is under.
This night Jenna came over as well, and while Mariah, Alyssa, Mattea, and I were playing Nertz she came over and helped me out. I think that she is an expert Nertz player also. Since I had some help I won! I beat Alyssa and Mariah! Marion said that I should document the fact that I beat Alyssa in a game of Nertz, does that mean no one has, not many people do, or it must be a rare occasion.
Gram has a Suprise for Gramp and for Ceaser tomorrow, they get to see each other! Gram was saying that Ceaser has not been himself since Gramp has left, but now he will get to see him. Gramp has been missing his Ceaser also!
