Happy December!
Yes, its that time of year again, and so hard to believe.
To me it seems that this year has gone by so fast. But, I do have to say I'm a little glad that it's almost over.
December is here, which means the Holidays are close and/or here.
December means all of our Christmas decorations are coming out, and soon enough dad will start playing the Christmas music.
It also means that mom gets out the Christmas Blanket. Which we love sleeping with, but it is so hard to give up. Sorry to say, when I came home from work last night my mom was a little bummed. She said it was my fault, that I hadn't reminded her to get the blanket. It was a little to late for her to want to go out and find it, and today it isn't looking nice outside. Let's hope by today or tomorrow we can go un-bury it.
I almost love the whole season. The only thing that could make it really feel like a Christmas season would be snow. And sorry to say, it hasn't snowed in this town for a while, so I think I'm out of luck in that department.
The other thing I love about it is that it brings out peoples generosity, kindness, and all those things we don't show enough of. It is one of those happier seasons.
Happy December everyone!

Mom must have lied to me! She said she had the blanket out on Sunday and I missed it because I headed home after church! Lies!
I think I might buy my own Christmas blanket on Sunday. The Blanketeers (quilting group at my church) is having their annual sale, the proceeds of which go to put a few Sudanese boys through school :) I am trying to convince mom to come buy a quilt, too.
My dad has a variety of music from Johnny Mathis to others that I can't name, but I know hes had them for years. I love his music, and I always look forward to hearing all those songs.
