Driving
Well my appointment was at 10:20 am this morning and I was extremely nervous. After we had gotten our papers all sorted out, I just waited in the car for someone to come up and make sure everything in the car was working. I had been waiting there for a while before anyone had come.
There were a few people in front of me and as I was waiting I got to see everything they tested the car for and made sure the driver knew where everything. The two cars in front were not prepared with their paper work so I got to go. There was a test for the signals and brakes but I just think that is to make sure they work. He also asked for the windshield wipers, head lights, and to make sure the horn worked. When he asked for the emergency lights I had no idea where they were, I felt so stupid, I had never needed to use them before. Well I can say that now I do!
There was a few things that he didn't ask for but they were on the list of checked items including the defroster, the seat belt, and the glove box. I don't know why.
Well once we left the DMV I thought, OK now this is the hard part. I thought we might have gone into down town but nope we stayed in that neighborhood, which was good! I knew my way around there and knew where any speed limits may have changed. After we drove around I was glad to be getting to the DMV. I thought that it was a short trip and thought I had failed. When I parked he asked me what I could have done better, I knew I should have looked around more and that I shouldn't drive so close to the parked cars in a on a narrow street. Other then that I was just scared I hadn't passed. I had a few errors, not enough to fail.
