Weekend

Week·end (n): any two-day period taken or given regularly as a weekly rest period from one's work

I think a weekend is the time to relax and a separate time in which many people spend not working. For most people this would be Saturday and Sunday, which means for people in school, NO SCHOOL! Of course I am not in school but I do have to work and work early. When I was younger I lived to get up early on a Saturday to watch cartoons! That is why kids love the weekend! Now that I have to get up at 6 am to be at work by 7 am on a Saturday, I dread waking up. I know that I haven't had enough sleep but I still have to get there. I guess I shouldn't be complaining because if I couldn't drive there would be a change that I would have to get up even earlier.

My question is: Why make someone work?

I know that if no one works you wouldn't go shopping for food or get gas but why make us get up so early? That is the extremely hard part! If we work for a few hours it won't be that bad, but in the beginning it will seem like forever since we've seen a pillow. The early hours and the long hours is what makes us sorry that we went to work, but I guess there is nothing to be done or there would be a shortage in money and the reason we have jobs is to get money to pay for things like gas or food.

All I'm saying is that the 6am wake up kills me, most people don't Wake up, or at least get out of bed, until 7 am but I guess for the few that do they can't be stopped.
