Reunion
If you have read my sisters blog about the reunion that was Saturday you may have read the ideas that everyone had come up with.
This is what hers Said:
"We are making a yarn family tree. We are going to tie ourselves together in a family tree. I AM A GENIUS. My cousins are going to be like, "Whose retarded idea was this?" MINE.
Also, weird facts in a hat and you have to guess whose weird facts they are.
And memory walls to sharpie up with cheesy family memories (mom's idea).
And water balloon toss (sister's idea). "
Sorry to say that only my mom's Memory wall thing worked and it took quite a while before anyone wrote on them. My sister started them but then they sat there for a while when everyone was at the park.
We never got started on the family yarn tree, there was only the bad of yarn sitting on the end table next to a bunch of cameras. As for the water balloon toss, I don't even know if there was a package of water balloons to be filled. I know they weren't though.
There were some things that we did do, after the long time of setting up the net a few groups played badminton. Someone brought a basketball, football, and a soccer ball. Good thing there was a basketball court!
Once we went inside there were some kids who decided how to learn to play Pente and played checkers. They had opened the new box of Uno cards but I am not sure if they played it or if they just tried to build a house of cards.
At the end of the night while only my side of the family was left we played baseball (or at least tried to.) We played with a plastic bat and woffel balls in the middle of the street. It was good though because a few time the balls hit a car and a few of those hits would have made a dent somewhere. There were a few people who don't know how to throw a ball and there were plenty of times where the ball flew right over my head. I guess I can't blame them seeing how I wasn't any better. I am better at hitting a good thrown ball and running after one that was hit.
