31 of 30

 Hello world!

I’m setting myself a goal, or possibly two. That for the next 30-31 days to be active on here.

Well not necessarily here, but other social media as well or to do a journal entry each day. 

I heard it takes 30 days to make something a habit, so that’s what I’m trying to do, get in the habit of writing/journaling each day. I feel like I keep so much bottled up inside sometimes, and it needs to come out. And while sharing certain thoughts with the openness of the internet seems terrifying, I’m pretty sure keeping all this inside is worse for me. There’s also a chance that hey, someone out there is feeling the same way as me and it won’t make them feel so alone. 

Those deep, dark, very personal things that’s what the journal is for. I’ve had it since college, love and cherish it, but also realize I write in it a couple times a year (if that), and while those journal entries are pages long they probably wouldn’t be if I used it a little more. 


... Honestly this took a little different turn then I initially intended thinking about this. It was more supposed to be a yes I want to do more journaling, but also let’s look at the world differently, happy thoughts the next 30-31 days. Yay, I finished a book, look at what I baked today (I’ve been doing that a lot) excited for puzzles to arrive (because I am!) celebrate the little things and not take a single day for granted. 

Those two paragraphs are completely different, so I guess we will see how these days go. I’m sure I’m hoping for more happy/smiling blogs/posts/journals but who knows what they will bring. 

31 for 30 days, here we go!
