Pineapple
Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled pineapple. Well actually it was pickled peppers, but these are picked pineapple, and they still fit the alliteration.
Sorry to tell Peter Piper, but I prefer pickled Pineapple over pickled peppers based on my experience with both. They are both pickled, but I can actually stand the pineapple where as I remember trying a small pickled pepper and feeling as though my mouth was burning. Pineapple was still spicy and delicious.
While my parents were in Hawaii the beginning of last month my mom bought pickled pineapple and a couple other things while at a farmers market and brought them back.
