Moving in.

Starting at a new school and in a new place, it was necessary for me to have a place to move into. Wow. Reading that just sounds complicated. New school, new place. I moved in.

I live in the dorms at school, most likely the easy thing to do especially in a new city, make it easier to make friends and get to know the school/town a little more. We had been preparing/packing for move in day for months I would think. At least since Mid June, beginning of July. Slowly packing things that we thought of, a pot here, bedding there, and even some laundry soap. Move in day finally came and we packed up two cars and headed out.

About two hours later, and we were there! Lucky for us it was move in day, and that meant there were plenty of people here to help. It only took about two trips to get everything to the room, but that was also with a little trolly type thing to carry stuff on, otherwise it might have been like ten trips.
I have a nice little room, that came with a desk a bed, and a dresser. The rest I kind of had to come with on my own. There was a little night stand type thing too, but that's holding the TV if you couldn't tell. But now I have my own chance to make my room how I want it, at least without to much destruction.I've got a nice little desk table, that still needs a little work at fixing up and organizing, even now. That will probably come during the next couple days when I've got time. My room also needs a little more color. My room mates having experienced living in the dorms were a little more prepared for this then I was, and they've got tons of posters and decorations around their rooms to make it a little more colorful. The first change is going to be the comforter since it wasn't the plan to bring the white lumpy one, but since it was the only clean one there was really no choice. I also want to look for some type of runner for the floor. For now I'm happy with my room, and when changes come I'll let you know.
