Into the Fog
Okay I may have mentioned that I would be going to two schools during the semester for the fact that my school isn't offering a class that I need to graduate (with my major in mind) for the next two semesters. So I'm stuck going to two.
I had taken a test drive to the school during the summer to estimate driving time and make any mistakes of wrong turns before the school year started. I did that during the summer and in the middle of the day when it was nice and sunny.
Well today was the second day at the second school. I'm looking forward to this class as well as the other class I'm taking for my major. What I'm not looking forward to is the fog. This class I have is probably the first class in the morning, 8 o'clock, so for me I leave the house about seven and have a good half an hour drive ahead of me maybe not including traffic. This morning when I left home it looked nice and sunny, but about the midway point between home and school that changed. The sun disappeared in the clouds.
This second school has me heading up north towards San Francisco, see I don't think I realized that when people talked about the weather there they weren't exaggerating, it's not the best weather. You don't really get to see the sun I don't think until maybe noon. I myself am not sure since by that time I'm back at home or at least my home town. Wednesday was the first day and I was so happy when I left to see the sun come out and take off my sweatshirt. Oh lots of fun! Today is a different story, there is tons of fog, heading in and when the class was over the fog was still there. I decided to stay at school for an hour, get a little better feeling for it, but it would be a lot easier if it wasn't so cold. I found the dining hall, the book store and a couple other places, and I'm staying inside for a while before I have to head to work. Hopefully then it will be a little sunnier.
