Spring Semester

Okay, so I've been in school for about a month now.  And I guess now is as good as any time to share what has happened in this month.

  • I've had a test in each of my lecture classes now (counting the one I'm taking tomorrow)
  • One of my roommates moved out (by none of our doing that I know of)
  • My room seems busier and fuller then ever
  • The cable at school no longer works for my ancient TV
  • My schedule seems super crazy
What you don't believe me on that last one?
Well, I can say my schedule is busier then last semester (and thats not including the fact I didn't have a class on Tuesdays).  I have classes every day of the week.  The only day I can sleep in is Thursdays since my first class doesn't start until 11.
I'm taking General Chemistry II, that comes with a discussion, lecture and lab.  I'm also taking Basic Physics which also comes with a discussion and lab. The other class (which I may consider my fun class) is Calculus. Ha!  I can see the look on your face, you don't think calculus is fun, you were hoping for something more exciting, something that didn't have equations or constants, sorry that didn't work out for you.  My favorite subject, and best subject has always been math, its never been any other way.
My earliest day is Tuesday, I've got an 8:30 class, which only lasts about an hour.  Half the time I've come back from class and taken a nap before starting on work.  I have two lab classes, one Tuesday and one Wednesday and luck for me only one requires me to wear protective goggles (wearing them for 2+ hours tends to leave marks on my face for a bit).  About 80% of my homework is done and submitted online, the plus side to that is that sometimes there are multiple chances if you made a mistake, the downside is the mistake could be something like significant figures, or miss rounding and they won't tell you that.

Second semester is going okay.  I just need to remember to stay on track keep up with work, and not get distracted by little things online while doing work.  I'll check my email, or look at facebook which might link me somewhere else, or to look at a different link.  That side thought that you want to last a couple minutes usually lasts slightly longer.  That's the internet for you.
Okay. Time to continue studying.  Wish me luck on my test.
