A Rude Awakening
I'd say I would expect to be waken up by my cats during the night, anytime in the early morning or even if I decide to take a nap they might, yet some how it's got nothing to do with them. No it has to do with the strange things that have been happening for quite some time, It started out with just one thing, and now it's turned into two.
Well let's see I've been moved into this room since late 2008, and it wasn't until mid last year that these strange things have been happening to me. A few times I just though it was my family doing it, I'd come home from work and the light at my night stand would be on. Okay, all I was thinking was who was in my room and forgot to turn off the light. Then when I asked, no one really knew, no one had been in there. I of course didn't believe them, they have tried to trick me before or pull things over on me, I wasn't going to let them do it this time. This light matches the one in Tanya's room that we got when we were still sharing rooms. If there is something wrong with mine, wouldn't it be happening to hers to? Well apparently not. It wasn't until a few more nights where I'd come home from work and walk in with the light on and think something was fishy. It had happened a few more times and it wasn't until it decided to turn on while I was sleeping that it really got me. And it's not in a position where I could accidentally bump the switch while I was asleep, no it woke me up by turning itself on. How it did this I have NO IDEA!
Well, sorry for the light I am having the last laugh. This light still stays on my nightstand, but stays unplugged until I need that light bad enough. There is no way I could have those sleepless nights where it decides to turn itself on again. Although I do think it is still laughing at me, seeing how every so often when I am using it it doesn't mind turning off.
Now to the TV. This has only been happening in the past month or so. And again it's one of those I have no idea how it happens situations. My TV is pretty old. It's the same one I was sharing with Tanya when we shared rooms, it's the same one Joliene has had for years (we each got one for our rooms one year for Christmas). And like I said it hasn't been happening for long, just recently. I think I first noticed it and just thought I forgot to turn it off. I had been watching a DVD and it needed to be on the video setting for the plug in and so there wasn't any noise. Then it came to a point where I knew I had turned it off, I came home one day and my sister told me the TV was on. Now if you didn't know my TV is in a TV cabinet/stand and when I leave for work or school, or when I go to bed the TV gets turned off and the cabinet doors get closed. (I learned the hard way that the cats will jump up next to it if I'm not there) So for the most part they are closed. It was only a little annoying when it started.
Then comes Monday morning. I thought it was 5:30, no it was 2:30 am and I was trying to get some sleep. Instead I hear my TV. I know I had turned it off, now why was it on at 2:30 in the morning, oh to annoy me. So what did I do? Well I got up went and turned it off and got back in bed, not even two minutes later did the TV turn itself back on. ARE YOU SERIOUS! I really was looking forward to going back to sleep and was comfortably back in bed, now I was mad that I had to get back up again. No this time I got up turned it off and then because it is plugged into a power strip I turned that off too. That would make certain that it wouldn't turn itself on again and that I would get some sleep. Stupid thing.
I'm still debating whether I want a new TV or not, seeing how this one is really old, but the light is only a few years old and Tanya has had no problem with hers. These things... I guess I'm just going to have to deal with them for now.

Jason is able to control TVs or cable or something with his iphone (I don't really know how this works... it involves technology and I'm an old woman). Maybe Tanya is messing with you from Texas (probably not).
I'm going with ghosts. Or someone in an invisibility cloak. Or a ghost in an invisibility cloak.
What I don't understand is why a ghost, or someone in an invisibility cloak would do something like that to me.
It's just strange
