Ken Ken
Asking what it is? So was I the first time I saw it. I used to be hooked to doing the Sudoku, then I got tired of it and gave up. Then I think some time in March it was a quiet day at work and so I picked up the newspaper thinking I would do the Sudoku. Then I found the Ken Ken. Pretty interesting, and full of Math, my favorite!
The Ken Ken is like Sudoku where every row and every column can only have one of the same number, but like I said, it's math. Each bold box there is a number and a sign in the upper left hand corner. The nice thing is, is that unlike regular math, the math done in this it doesn't matter the order. The easy ones are the single boxes that have just a number, that just means that number goes in that box. Yes, very easy!
After doing this a few times and picking up the newspaper just to do these I found a 365 daily ken ken at borders and yes I bought it. It starts out with easy ones, that were just 2x2 and then grew slowly, they go up to I think 11x11, but I'm still on the 6x6, which is what I had been doing. Can't wait until they get harder, it'll be fun.
