And still there is more

These books are slightly different.  Their common denominator is that I've had them on my bookshelf since about high school.

Going after Cacciato I got because I enjoyed reading The Things They Carried my junior year of high school.  I enjoyed the first book, my state of mind must have been if you like this author keep reading, although I have yet to read it.

Senior year we were given a list of books to choose from and read, Kafka on the Shore was on the list, but I chose to read something else for the assignment, but wanted to go back and read it.  Can't remember why I passed it over, or why I went back to get it.

There is no story about the Store Keeper's Daughter, I know I've had it since about 2009 and have some idea about where it might have come from, but I'm not sure.

The Scarlet Letter was one of those books that most people read in high school.  I never did, or was never asked to, or it was again on a list and I chose to read something else, but I was still curious about what others were reading.

Okay maybe I lied, I don't think I've had If You Come Softly since high school and it has no relation to high school.  I guess it was the odd one in the bunch.  Might have been my sisters, might have been a garage sale find, but it has been sitting on my bookshelf for quite some time.
