Good Bye Summer

In less then 24 hours I will be walking into a classroom, and leaving my summer behind, well the part of my summer where I could sleep in and not worry about homework or tests, I'll still be living in summer weather for the next month or so.  But I have to say I had a good summer.  Yes I mostly worked, but making money is a good thing, and on my days off I tried to take advantage and go have some fun.  I feel like this summer, I did the most, at least based on last summer, but maybe because I was working it just seemed busier.

My summer was good to say the least, as I may have said in previous posts, while some days weren't exhotic or super crazy flying to places or seeing amazing things, the simple things did it for me.  I was happy almost forgetting that I had to work on the Forth of July, and spending some time in San Francisco, by myself and with a friend.

I moved into the dorms on Sunday, and have slowly settled into the dorm life.  I've got two new roommates who are still in a transition period themselves on being in the dorms and away from home, so once again a new experience.  Monday was finishing up on organizing, decorating, and cleaning up (because moving can be a mess sometimes).  Tuesday was somewhat a lazy and relaxing day, with a bit of roommate bonding fun, and some more shopping.  And now we have today, where the official last day of no classes, and I have to remember to set an alarm for the morning and remember where classes are, and make sure my backpack has everything I need tomorrow.

I had a good summer, and I have to say that I'm happy how the summer went, how it ended and that my bulletin board at school is covered with adventures.  Good bye summer, let the school year begin!
