Another Update
I realize now, that my last update on my goals might not have been quarterly, but if I'm updating constantly every four months it should work out okay. I think.
1. Explore Turlock. Well I think finals happened to stall me, and not living in Turlock or being close to school didn't help either. I did actually happen to go to the Stanislaus County Fair during the summer, in Turlock so that was something, but I ended up finding more places to go around Turlock then actually in it during the summer. I'm going to try again this semester and hopefully have a little more luck with the exploring. I mean I should at least find some interesting/new parks around town. I can do it, lets go!
2. Get back into crafting. I have made a couple steps towards crafting. Still working on my main projects. They are still somewhat in the developing stages, I think I just need a little motivational juice to get me going. It'll happen, maybe during the week I'll take some steps forward for this.
3. Get a 3.5 GPA. So the semester didn't go as well as I had planned. I worked hard, and surprisingly got an A in a class I didn't suspect. My grades did improve from the semester before, but I would still like to work hard and keep my GPA up, get on the Deans List, thats what I want. Hopefully at the end of this semester I'll have good news.
4. Read the 5 books listed. You know how last time I said "I will read them all!" well it happened. I read a total of 6.5 books over the summer. Of course that book I haven't quite finished yet is the one that isn't on my list, but I was glad to be able to add a couple new books and finish all of the ones I wanted to start. I think my mom thinks I'll be looking through the house looking for new books, actually I was, but that was a different story. I'm glad to have improved, and if I can read, lets say 8-9 books total by the end of 2014 I'd be extremely happy with myself. I'm improving, learning, and seem very interested in these books.
5. Be more experimental with baking. I have a couple recipes bookmarked to try out, just haven't had the chance to make them yet. Hopefully one of these weekends while I'm at school I can print them out and have a crazy baking day. Thats going to be the plan. Print recipes, then test them out.
6. Go to the gym 3x a week. During the summer I was pretty bad about working out. Did some walking here and there, and did zumba once, but since most of the time I was working trying to fit in a workout didn't really work without much. Now that school has started back up again hopefully I can get back into a steady routine. The plan is to workout at least 4 days a week now, zumba two days, and something else two other days. I've got the dedication to do it, and this week it worked out pretty well. It'll work.
