Breakfast
Yes I know, sorry more food pictures.
Maybe I should explain some. I remember when I was younger, I always had breakfast, I always ate breakfast. I remember sitting at the kitchen table eating on a school morning, and wondering why my sisters weren't, they were in high school, maybe college and didn't seem to have time for breakfast. I'm pretty sure my mom told me that once I got to high school breakfast would be a thing of the past for me.
Oh how she was wrong. Through high school, and now through college I haven't skipped breakfast. Of course there is the occasional waffle grab, but I've never given up breakfast.
Now that school is out, and I have some more time to make breakfast I tend to get a little fancy or experiment a little bit.
I think I like making eggs, because sometimes you can just throw what ever in them, and they'll taste pretty good. Also making eggs takes more time then a bowl of cereal, but not as much cleaning or time as making pancakes (which I love to make).
My mom had bought sourdough bread for a pasta dinner we were having, and then suggested I make french toast with the bread. A little different then I was used to, but it was pretty delicious.
Then there was this. Another slight thanks to my mom. There was one morning while I was in the shower, and kept smelling different things. To me it smelled like pancakes and sausage, my mom hadn't made anything close to that. She had made some eggs with spinach, tomatoes, and garlic salt, and as she was describing this to me it sounded delicious, and I had to try it myself. I had already been putting spinach in my eggs, but tomatoes seemed a little strange, but I was willing to try it, and I have to say it tasted pretty delicious.
Breakfast. Kind of seems like its my thing, and if it isn't, don't tell me, I'm happy not knowing.
