My week back

For start this week:
It was exhausting.  I arrived at school at about 10:30 Sunday night returning from my week long break.  There was then the unloading of my car, which with much skill I made in two trips.  That skill also hurt my neck due to all of the bags hanging off of my shoulder.  I most likely didn't get done unpacking everything till about 11 and didn't fall asleep until midnight with my mind racing and my body aching.

Monday wasn't half bad.  Getting back into my routine wasn't hard.  I was surprised that I didn't sleep through my alarm, and was happy to have some slight bit of food for breakfast.  I was almost in a panic when I realized what my limited resources were for the morning.  Monday afternoon was based on studying for my Calculus exam that I had Tuesday morning.  So in the end no Giants game.  Sad face, but hopefully over the summer I can get a good set of seats and watch a game.

Tuesday test day.  Test went fairly well, I studied a little bit before class started and did my hardest to do what I could.  After class I went back to my dorm and took a little 2 hour nap.  That is just the lovely thing about Tuesdays I wake up before the sun comes out, go to class and then have a 5-6 hour break before my next class. I'd say pretty sweet.  Even sweeter was the fact that my second class of the day was canceled because of a test we were having.  Yes I just said test.  A different test, this time a Physics test. So the rest of my Tuesday was spent studying.

Wednesday test day.  My physics test was this day.  There was just so much anxiety in me I really just wanted the test to be over.  I was nervous and yes again studying until the last minute and hoping I studied enough to get a good score on the test.  The good news is I felt AMAZING after the test was over, I felt like I aced the test, and with all of the anxiety gone I was superbly happy. Then I went to lab, which lasted over time because well, it was a long Chemistry lab.  Having to find the pH midpoint, end point and all that jazz, it was just tiring. But I couldn't just sit back and relax.  I had homework that needed to be done and no time to spare.

Thursday was great besides the little trickle in my throat.  Made a nice warm breakfast, had plenty of time to get ready and actually enjoyed the nice weather.  Thursday afternoon after my classes is when trouble kind of started.  It wasn't anything bad, it was just a mind overload of information.  Did I mention that I had a test the next day in chemistry?  Well I did, and so after a 20 minute break to eat my snack/lunch my chemistry book was my new best friend.  Not to say I hadn't read it before but because of break and because some material on the test was material we learned over a month ago I needed a little refresher.

Now we get to today.  I was drowsy and not ready to be up.  I guess luckily for me my test wasn't the first class or I might have been in a little trouble.  I got my calculus test back and got an 85, which wasn't bad with the little struggles I was having but it also wasn't my best. Then was chemistry, which is another one of those things I could have done better on.  My mind was blanking on the smallest things and I was beating myself up for it.  Then the best news I could ever give!  You know how I said that I felt amazing after my physics test, well I had a good reason to feel amazing.  I got a 103/100 on my physics test.  Hooray!!  I was almost speechless when I got it, filled with joy but still a little speechless.  I didn't expect to do that good on the test, but somehow I did.
A happy ending to a long week.
