On Tuesday Gram and I had planned to go and see Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince! We had looked up the schedule of when the movie was playing before we decided to go and watch it. Afterward, we decided to go and visit Grampie since we could only be there for so long, and we did not want to miss the movie. While we were visiting Gramp, Grammie was looking a little sleepy, Gramp told me that if Gram falls asleep I should just poke her in the side. I was not going to do that, poor Gram!
Our plan was to go and see it at 12:15, so before we went to the movie theatre, we headed to the store to buy some food to snack on while we were there. Gram got some chips with pizza flavor and some cheese, I got some flips (chocolate covered Pretzels), and some other chocolate to snack on. We got to the theater plenty early so that we could see the previews and have good seats. When we got there, the one we had planned on seeing was filled up, so we bought the tickets for the next show and went back to Grams house to wait. So maybe then Gram could get some sleep!

So we came back for the 3:30 show, and I think Gram was still a little tired. I don't think she got enough sleep while we waited. We still arrived to the theatre early, and since the other movie was not done yet, Gram and I got our drinks and went to this little room to the side that had all of these cool old movie things in them. Like costumes, statues, photos of characters and actors, and even some props. It was so cool to look around and see all of this neat stuff.

Mickey Mouse!

When we got to our seats we were ready to go. We saw the previews and I think there were some problems because at first the movie didn't start and there was an announcement that said the movie was going to start soon.
Once it did, I think maybe 25 minutes in Gram fell asleep. I was not going to poke her like Gramp said, so I just let her sleep. After a while her head started to lean against my shoulder, I didn't mind. She seemed comfortable, I was not going to make her move. "It's OK Gram you can stay there." I think she woke up 15-25 minutes before it ended. And I think she and I were glad about it. A few minutes after she did something in the movie made me jump out of my seat, and that would have waken her up if she was still laying on me. It was funny, because I knew it was coming, but I guess I wanted it to come at a different time.
Later that night my parents called to see how everything was doing and when Gram was talking to dad he said "mom you are not suppose to pay for your naps." What a silly Gram. So the movie that was $4 per person was really $7.25 for me and .75 for Gram. Jenna and Marion came over to flatten out the backyard for the pool to be set up.
