First Full Day

Saturday morning came and stayed for a while. I had gotten dressed and went upstairs, I was not sure what Gram was up to so I did a little hiding from her. "No Gram, I'm not hiding" She had planned to bring Gramp his chair and a dresser. Gram had cleaned out a dresser to give to him, and a little night stand. There was also a fridge that was brought to him the night before. Since there was no way gram and I could move the chair or dresser out all the way we needed some help, and a vehicle that could hold all of it.

Grams car was small, so she and I could fit with the drawer to the nightstand, that was it. Well, other people could be in it, but not big enough for a chair. She called people around her ward to see who could help. She also got Marion to come and help move the stuff. There was no way that chair could be lifted upstairs without help.

She finally got some people to come over and help out. So we brought the stuff to him, he was so excited to see me. I think he was a little shocked, he didn't know I was coming to visit. We moved some things around, closed up the wheel chair and put his chair where it was. I think that the dresser and TV were the hard part. The TV was on a dresser that was already there and we were bringing him a dresser. It was a three or four person job, but we had enough people so that Gram couldn't help.

After hanging out and talking with Gramp for a while Gram and I did a little shopping, some for Gramp, and some for us for dinner. We stopped at Walmart, gram found a better deal on cat food for Ceaser and so she got some. After we dropped off food for Gramp, Gram and I went driving. Gram was going a little Crazy "We're driving to get lost". Thanks Gram, but we did find our selves at Mimi's Cafe. Since we did not stop at home after shopping, we brought the tapioca pudding inside with us. We wanted it to stay cool, we knew the car was going to be HOT when we got back out. Lucky for me Gram ordered something that came with a muffin, "Yay Breakfast!" So we packed that and went to the next store, it was Pebbles in my Pocket... I think. We only found a few items at Walmart that were related to Graduation, and there was none related to Prom, we had to find more for scrapbooking.

So again, we brought the pudding in that store with us, I did some looking around and they had packages, with ideas on them for prom. Just what was needed! We bought a few things there, paper, stickers, and little trinkets. We then went to Costco, Gram had a recipe for Salmon with Mango salsa, which sounded really good. So we needed the Salmon and any of the ingredients that Gram didn't have yet. This time when we were coming the lady standing at the front asked if the pudding was a return, nope, just here to stay cool.

Poor Gram, found a deal on the cat food, but when we got home, most of it had popped in the car and heat. It was rotten luck! The day had worn Gram out so she and Ceaser went to take naps, while I tried to print the pictures I brought for scrapbooking. There was something wrong with it, it was stuck! The Computer froze! What could I do??? I first told facebook what I was doing 'Trying to print pictures, Grams printer is not working'. I needed help and Couldn't get it at the moment. Well, I thought I could deal with it, boy was I wrong! So when Gram woke up, we decided to drive over to the Shirley house to print the pics there, we drive up, and all the cars are gone...then the phone rings. 'It's Tirzah'...We couldn't help but laugh, they were at her house as we were at theirs. How did that happen?? So we went back to Grams house, where Marion tried to fix the Computer. So Tirzah, Rye, Mattea, and Marion came over while Lyssa and Jenna went to the Fray Concert. I was so happy to see more of my cousins! It was a busy day and we had more fun together.
