Hillsdale

My High School is very different from most high schools. Hillsdale has smaller learning communities and with that they have "houses". For the lower class men Freshmen and Sophomores there are three houses Marrakech, Kyoto, and Florence. For the Upper class men Juniors and Seniors there are only two houses Jakarta and Cuzco. ( I'm not sure if that is spelt right) They had the three houses for a while and at the end of last year they decided it would be easier for the upperclassmen to be in houses.

Another thing different would be that Hillsdale has block schedules. This is where on one day you have your even classes (2, 4, and 6) and on the next day you have odd classes (1, 3, 5, and 7). The rest of the week you have every class. But lucky for us we get out early on the even days and if you don't have a 1st class then you get to sleep in more on the odd days. It is pretty cool. I think it is to make doing homework a little more easier. There is only half the homework due on one day and the rest is due the next.

I told you Hillsdale had some strange things. There are more but I can't remember what they were right now so I'll get back to you later on that.
