London Museum Day

It was not planned to be a museum day, but with their being a few on the list and them being somewhat close together we figured we could check them out.  All were free entry, with the exception of major exhibits.
 National Gallery
Containing about 2,300 pictures, it is one of the greatest collections in the world. Artwork from Monet, Van Gogh, da Vinci. and so much more.
British Museum
The world's oldest national public museum, collections from Asia, Greece, Rome, Africa, and Europe.

 St. Paul's Cathedral
One of it's most iconic features is the Dome (below). We walked by around 5pm when they were having their choir evening service, and were allowed to stay but not take pictures inside.

Monument honoring firefighters who gave their lives to defend the nation 1939-1945

 Tate Modern
Probably the more exciting or more interesting of the museums we went to.

After a full day of walking around museums we were a bit exhausted.  We did not get through everything in Tate Modern or the British Museum, but there was so much to see and not enough time,  Our feet hurt, and we learned our lesson to pace ourselves with the museums instead of trying to do them all in one day.
