Pier 39
It is strange to say that although I live so close to San Francisco, I barely ever head up there and do some sight seeing. I mean be a tourist. I think my one reason is the driving, unless you are a pro, I would think that driving in San Francisco is a pain. Streets that only turn left, traffic at every turn. Not anything I really enjoy. Probably why I let other people drive when heading up there, or use the train.
Also being able to do some drive by sight-seeing isn't in the best interest of a driver.
The Bay Bridge. So close to AT&T Park, yet I never knew. Must explore more when I am down there now.
There were pretty little plant decor around Pier 39.
They actually had a few others I just didn't get those ones. Like there was one with crab features coming out of a round bush, I guess being its shell or body.
A real trolley. It most reminds me now of Mr. Rogers Neighborhood. Is that a bad thing?
I wish I had taken a ride on it.
These stairs were amazing. Not only did they look like piano keys, but they also made noise, like a piano.
If I knew enough about pianos I would be able to tell you if it worked properly or not.
But I'm not, so I can't.
A bow and arrow, not the best shot, bur being in the car in the middle of the road, meant pictures weren't gonna be perfect.
The clock tower.
I think it was important.
I know someone told me to take a picture of this.
It was official, we were at Pier 39.
I'm pretty sure it has been at least 10 years since I have been to the pier. Seen these sights, and walked around. I just wish I could have stayed more. There was so much to see, it really did have to be a day trip.
Beautiful sights from the parking garage. I don't know, it was almost amazing.
There was a place at the pier just for the sea lions.
They were just laying around soaking up the sun.
Or fighting for a spot in the sun.
Or swimming in the water.
They were a little bit hypnotizing.A good sight for watching for everyone to enjoy.
The Golden Gate Bridge.
Only for looking at, we weren't close enough to be near it on this day.
Always some fun!
Looking around, seeing further down.
Enjoying everything.
Again I wish I could have stayed and fully enjoyed everything on that day instead of being worried about work. Gah!
I guess I'll have to go back some other time and get the full experience.
