I learned the basic rules of how you want a poster to look like in high school, at least I think it was high school. And now I have decided to share some of these nifty tips with you.
1. You don't want a lot of white space.
2. There is such a thing as to much color:
3. Not having enough color might mean a vortex of doom
5. You want boarders on your poster, but not so much that you are jamming everything together.
6. Pictures help give color, but they don't make up for it.

4. Don't force things to fit. Sometimes they just aren't going to fit.

8. You don't want it to wordy.

Just a few things you should think about when making poster boards. These problems tend to come up sometimes. I know I've had these problems and hey these little tips will come in handy one day, and you'll come back here and thank me.
You just have to remember to make it appealing to the eye. Ask for a second opinion just to make sure it looks right.
