Oh technology!

As of Monday my laptop has been having problems. Unsolvable problems by me. It happened after I took its battery out to clean (which of course I now regret) because once I put it back in these problems started. What problems you may ask? Well the volume happens to have a mind of its own, as does the Internet (or my connection to the Internet) and every so often my computer will turn itself on.  Now I thought I could fix it, and obviously was wrong. I brought it to best buy (since that's where I bought it) and had the geek squad look at it. No type of warranty existed to fix it since I bought it 2+ years ago. After a go through they found out it was the top buttons of my computer that were having problems which meant a hardware problem, which meant sending it out there being a 2-4 week period in which I will not have a laptop, or at least my laptop. Oh joy! See here's the thing about 85% of my homework is online this semester which means without a computer of sorts I'm a little in trouble. I had two choices standing at best buy: (1) send in my laptop to get fixed and hope it'd be done by the time spring break was over or (2) think about it see if I can deal with my computer and it's problems and use he resources at school such as the library for other help. I chose the latter just because I enjoy the comfort of my own room doing homework and sending it in meant there was no possibility of doing that.  I understand that sending it in over break means that it might not be done by the time it's over, but at least I'd have the chance to take my moms old laptop to school for use until its fixed. Keeping my laptop does mean though that there is a limit on what I can do on it. AKA only homework. No social media, no Netflix, no checking email. Just homework and maybe a little blogging. Boo! Again I can only blame myself for this problem.  Hooray for mobile devices! My little phone and my iPod touch both have Internet access so I can get emails and check them, I can look at social media. I'm just going to have to deal with it for now. Wish me luck!
