I'm in a Dress

To say I don't like wearing dresses is a little bit of an understatement.  Actually its a huge understatement, I can most likely count on one hand how many times I've worn a dress in the past oh, 10 years.  Yes I'm that bad. I don't know what it is but, dresses and skirts just aren't my thing.   I prefer the optional and slightly more comfortable jeans ant T-shirt.

I have only found really a few dresses I like, and they are all sitting in my closet for a sunny day to come when I'll wear them again.  My prom dress might just stay in there forever, I don't know.  I think it is just that I don't feel completely comfortable in a dress, that I don't look right in one, and maybe because I don't wear them often enough I'm not comfortable in them.

Well, here's the thing, my eldest sister is engaged to be married, and me, I'm a bridesmaid, which in most (if not all) cases means a dress.  I'm not here to complain, because I'm pretty sure I'll actually like the dress I'm wearing for this, but be sure to mark your calendar.  The day of her wedding, you will definitely see me in a dress, and hopefully as time goes by I'll get more used to wearing dresses, because one day I'll be the bride, and I do plan to wear a dress for that occasion.

Until then, here is one of the dresses I tried on as a guinea pig the first time we went out looking.  This dress was a no, just because it was a little to showy in the cleavage section for someone like me, always something to think about when buying dresses, and thinking that different body types will be wearing the same dress.
