Nutella Sandwich Cookies

In December I found out the amazingness of nutella. I mean its delicious and to die for.
Eat it on toast or just eat it off a spoon. Its just yum.

Okay, back to the topic. COOKIES!
My mom had a while back came upon a recipe for nutella cookies in one of her cookie magazines. And a few weeks ago found it again saying that we should actually make the cookies. I had spring break last week, and also didn't have a car so my options were limited unless I wanted to walk and get on a bus, but I wasn't in that much of the mood to do so.
I decided to make them Friday, the end of the week and there would be people at the house over the weekend that would eat them, or at least I would hope so.

Its actually a pretty simple recipe, all you need is a little butter about 2tbsp, only one egg, a jar of nutella and some self rising flour.
Although I do have to say it does get a little sticky after you mix all of it together. Once you do you have to kneed it and make little balls to bake. Your hands will be sticky and slimy so if you make them be prepared.
Now they are sandwich cookies. Once they've baked you wait it out I'd say 20-30 minutes before trying to cut them in half, waiting ten didn't work for me the cookie crumbled in my hand. Spread nutella on the inside, put the two pieces together and ta da!
Nutella Sandwich Cookie.
You can eat the cookie without the nutella middle that makes it a sandwich and save the left over nutella for something else. Because for some reason this recipe uses almost the entire jar of nutella, almost all of it. But the cookies were yum!
