New furniture has arrived!
It actually arrived the Thursday before Christmas, which was nice but also a little stressful since that meant all rearranging needed to be done within a few days.
They were going to be leaving anyway, but both of them had a place to go where as the TV stand/dresser that I got from my sister, and had been yelling at for the past few weeks, had to remain in my room.
Along with getting new furniture I also got new bedding. I was trying to find something that went with my furniture and wall colors, but also gave a little color to my room. Having dark wood furniture and khaki walls are just a little to plain and boring for me.
I still have a little rearranging and organizing in my room, but I think for now it will have to do. The TV stand/dresser is still in my room, and really only being used to hold some of those items that need to find new homes and holding my TV, but at least I don't have to fight with it to give me my clothes anymore. More cleaning does need to be done, but I am happy, it is finally my room.
The first and most important part before the arrival of the furniture (new dresser and book shelf) was to make room for them which meant moving these:
My bed during the process of change, and I have to say it doesn't even describe what was going on. Let me just say: five dresser drawers stacked on top on the bed along with a couple bags, a trash can and some shoes.
It may only be the top, but it is 10 times better then the other two dressers put together. Enough drawers for all of my clothes, and even some room for extras.

The hardest part was trying to find something of my interest and in a twin. See there was a handful of bedding sets that I liked, but they only seemed to come in King, Queen, or Full. Most of the twin bedding wasn't as conservative as I would have liked it to be, and after searching for months at what felt like every store I finally found one. Thank Goodness.
