Today was a good(ish) day

Let’s start with my car CD player. It’s had semi issues from the beginning, not wanting to play burned CDs, or taking roughly the 20 minute commute I had to start playing them.  That’s not the current problem.  The newish problem is that in cases of a lot of heat, my car won’t give me my CD back I’ve given up fighting with it, and know once I change the CD out I won’t get it back for months.  It just so happened, I accidentally pressed the eject button on a hot enough day, and it wasn’t coming out. Okay, that’s fine, but it also wouldn’t play, less okay. 

So it’s been two weeks of there is a CD in the player, but it’s not in enough to play, and it’s not out enough to grab. Until this morning, where some how on my way to work I nudged it just enough that it went in and started to play.

Next is my missing claddagh ring.  I had given up most hope, it wasn’t under the fridge (although there were plenty of cat toys) or under the oven, not in the bathroom, didn’t fall into any drawers, and not in the locker room at work.  It wasn’t under the popular side of the bed with all the other cat toys. I was hoping neither of the cats swallowed it, and thought maybe it had fallen off in the neighbors bushes never to be seen again. I purchased a six dollar replacement from amazon (big mistake) thinking it would feel the same. It seemed like a clown ring, besides me picking the wrong size, it was just too large in decor. 

I was almost positive I lost the ring at home, took the small chance that it was at worked and asked the person at the front desk if we had a lost and found or if someone handed anything in. She said yes, a ring was turned in last week. Hallelujah!
