Utah 2016
No, I have not forgotten, and no you weren't being left out. It has just been long, and sometimes trying to find the right words on how to summarize is the hardest part. We spent at long weekend in Utah visiting family, each day was a new challenge as to what we were going to do, isn't that always the hardest part?
We went to the Provo Recreation Center, which was pretty big and amazing. Lots of swimming pools, slides, things to do. Oh my! I mean there was two huge outside pools, and then a couple inside pools that were like amazing and fun, and I wish I had done more.
The next day we went for a hike, and had a non-picnic because there were signs that said no picnics. Instead we ate our sandwiches, munched and went on our merry way (see no picnic here) looking for a waterfall.
Saturday was the farmers market and some killer pancakes in Salt Lake, although I'm not sure everyone got or wanted pancakes, but white chocolate macadamia pancakes sounded delicious to me and not something I may easily make at home. Have I ever mentioned how much I like pancakes? Cuz I love them!
Sunday was good bye for some of us. Back home, back to work, back to reality. back to a regular life. We dropped off those heading back to Texas and had some time to spend in Salt Lake, we went and had a tour at the Beehive House it wasn't a full tour because of the weekend, but it was still interesting. We also walked around Temple Square some and looked around, it was the first time being there not having a wedding or anything to just look and walk and enjoy.
This is my family, at least the ones living in Utah.
