Frozen (2013): Almost a year later
I spent this past weekend finally watching a movie that everyone has been singing about, and talking about even a year later. I may claim to be a disney fanatic, but when school tends to come in the way sometimes watching the newest disney movie gets to the bottom of the list, I haven't even watched all of Tangled yet (although I have seen the last 30 minutes or so).
The plan initially was to head over to my roommates and watch it together, snack, have some giggles and have a girls night. Friday came, I went to the closest redbox and rented the movie for a night. I'll admit, it wasn't for the lack of effort to try and watch this, I had gone to multiple redboxes in multiple locations looking to rent, but they were all out, all rented, which made me a little sad.
Back on track here...
Movie was rented, and in my possession, next was just to wait. Well, a little something came up, it got late, and plans happened to change. Friday night the movie didn't happen, and as it was a one day rental where if I didn't return it I'd have to pay another $1.29 Saturday was my best bet. And it happened to be, of course I would have wished to have someone else to watch it with, I mean it was that good, but I did just fine laying on my bed watching it on 10 am on Saturday.
Frozen has been on my list to watch not just because everyone was singing about it, but also due to the fact that it is now part of the storyline in Once Upon A Time this season Obviously the characters names were one thing, but knowing the storyline, what happened where and why these characters acted as they did makes a difference. This past Sunday everything just clicked, it all came together once I had seen the movie.
And I'll admit, after running errands and doing some shopping, I did manage to watch Frozen one last time before having to return it to the redbox without being charged for another day. Yes it was kind of that good.
