The Voice/New Years Eve
Did you watch the Voice this season? Did you? I did! The first year and probably only year I will, and that was because of this amazing singer Cassadee Pope. I didn't exactly watch it from beginning to end, but I watched from the time she auditioned in September (?) to December 18th when she was chosen as the Voice winner.
Why did I watch just because of her, well if you weren't paying attention or have no idea who she is she once sang for a band called Hey Monday, which I love to death, and since the band split December 2011/January 2012 I have been following their journeys separately into new things, and while I wasn't a fan of the Voice, this got me to watch and vote. So amazingly awesome and slightly addicting.
Part two of this little thing was that because I was a little bit older this year and not afraid of getting lost in San Francisco I went to hang out with my sisters on New Years instead of staying home yet again with my parents. There is nothing wrong with it, but since I was the only child staying home I was not having super fun being the only one that could make it till midnight (and past) without a nap or "closing my eyes for just a second" or running to bed right when the ball drops.
No not fun. The one downside, that is fixable due to this lovely thing called the internet, was that I missed Cassadee perform on New Years. I mean it wasn't that big of a deal because I've seen her perform plenty of times, but it was just a little funny that the one time I wasn't home watching a New Years Eve special was the time I wanted to see it.
Now you can enjoy it and see what you missed:
