Game Testing
I tested a game on Tuesday.
There isn't much I can tell you on the game since it hasn't been released yet, and I signed a paper that said I wouldn't.
I can say that I drove all the way to San Francisco to test this game.
That I would have taken pictures inside the building/common area if I didn't look like a weirdo, because it looked a little like a fun place to be. I mean there was pinball machines, a ping pong table, and bean bag chairs. Doesn't sound like much, but it looked like a lot of fun.
I was taken to a different floor, brought into an almost empty room with about only computers and chairs.
I was testing this game for an hour, being asked questions along the way and being observed while I play. It was a little strange having someone watch me, but I guess that is why I was getting paid.
After the hour was done I was escorted back to the front (because they don't want people wondering off) and because there was security, I mean I had to sign in to even get past the entrance. Then I walked out.
It wasn't until I was on my way home that I was mad I hadn't taken a picture. It wouldn't have been as strange if I was taking a picture outside which actually represented who I was testing for. Oh well, maybe next time.
