Nerts
There are a few things I have learned in the past week or so, and maybe a few things that you didn't know about nerts.
1. It's an app (and sorry Tanya, but I found it first)
1. It's an app (and sorry Tanya, but I found it first)
2. More people know how to play it then I thought
3. These people call it by another name, demon
4. (and this one I really didn't know) that there is a certain scoring to nerts
I think when ever I played with family we never took score so I guess if there was a way to score, it was never discussed. I do play nerts as an app, but never understood the scoring. Last Sunday night I was out with some friends, who wanted to play demon (at that point I didn't know what it was), they start to describe it and of course, it's nerts. We get through one round, and then they take score. Each card you have in your 13 stack pile when the first person calls nerts counts double against you. So, if you have 5 cards left you are at -10 points. Then every card you played out in the center pile, Aces and things is one point toward you. So if you have 12 cards out, you have 12 points, combine with the -10, and really you have 2 points.
The first person to 50 wins.
And that's what I've learned.

Come to Utah and we shall play it all the day long :) We've had a bit of a sluggish Nertz season as of late, and I miss playing it.
I supposed I could come to you as well...haha. Love you and miss you!
We should make a plan of sorts so that we don't have these problems and can play nertz all day long! Haha
I miss you and love you too!
