An Old Complaint
I was cleaning up my room and moving around paper work when one paper caught my eye. The title was The object of nothingness
Again all I have is school to blame and yell at. Now I am sitting in school writing this because the teacher I TA for (teachers aide) has nothing for me to do and not thanks to the school I can't leave until all classes have ended. Or until I no longer to have class that I need to be in. AKA You can leave when your last class of the day ends. Which I understand you don't want students leaving when they have a class to be in and then not come back, but some students are smart enough to come back. But I have a second period and TA for third- my question is what should I do for that time? 50 minutes doing nothing Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays on Wednesdays and Thursdays the classes are 2 hours longer (but you only go to half each day). That is 2 hours sitting in a classroom with nothing to do- who would actually stay if they didn't have class? No one! The schools have the most stupid rules and ones that everyone disobeys! I get that when you are in any other class the time should pass by in a flash, but when it is not going by in a class that you don't have to be in what is to do?
I remember writing this last year because High School seemed so hard and unfair. I look back and realize that school was there to protect me and keep me safe. The other thing that I notice is that I should not have named it the object of nothingness. When I saw the title I thought that it was going to be something more interesting. Whats on my mind now? Re-name it something else!
