Back to School Night
This year was my final year for back to school. I was so bummed when I realized that I had to work, I knew that without my help my mom would get lost.
I had prepared earlier in the week a list describing the location of each class, what room number and what teacher. The schedule started with Advisory that everyone has, but before that there was a Senior Meeting at 6:30. As a Senior I decided not to have a first or a seventh, so during 1st period my mom had to do something. My mom also had to figure out what to do during 3rd period because I aide and she really didn't need to show up for that. When she realized that second period would not end until 7:45 at least my mom called me and I was happy to hear that.
Each year I have showed my mom around and my final year I was stuck at work. At exactly eight I closed for work and Tanya took me down the hill to get to school. It was 4th period (Chamber Choir) and during that time I went to the car and dropped off my stuff and talked to the band teacher. When the bell rang I went to help my mom, off to Econ. I was happy to be showing her the few classes and teachers that were new for me this year, the rest were rooms she knew where to find or Teachers she already knew. The only problem was that 3rd period I aide for my old Advisor and my mom really didn't need to be there for him explaining sophomore history. She did something else instead.
I am just happy to say that I didn't miss it!
