Stitch Fix August 2018

My last fix blog mentioned me getting fixes every three months, but for this instance I was still looking for a dress that matched the wedding colors/scheme a little more I changed the date to just a little earlier.  There were some decent finds, and one that I wasn't thrilled with.

First is the Market & Spruce Elody Embroidered Detail Dress, which has a really nice color (thanks Google for this color pop).  It was nice forming, had a cute design and a string to tie in the back, which was longer then I would have preferred.  It had pockets too!

The fix also contained a Q&A Nataliya Crochet Detail Dress, again there were pockets.  This dress was so light in color that I am pretty sure you can see the shorts I am wearing underneath in this picture, and I am also afraid would get very dirty  It is not like I am a messy person, but I usually try and stay away from light colors for such a reason.

And then there was the Tahari ASL Lyra Laser Cut Dress, some how I only have a front facing picture of me wearing it, sorry this is what you get.   My stylist did say this was more for a formal occasion, but I was not going to something this formal any time soon.  Let me explain, my mom buys Tahari for work, and while these are supposed to be you can only find at stitch fix, I am 80-90% sure my mom owns something close to this.  It may not be Tahari, but she owns a bright blue dress that looks similar to this that I think she wears to work.  I don't think I need anything that formal right now, and I don't want to match my mom either (sorry mom).

Lets get back to something a little more my style and fun this Pixley Ashlend Knit Dress.  As this is a later post, and if you follow me on other social media platforms you should know this is the one I kept and wore to the wedding.  Of the dresses, this one was fun, colorful, easy to move in and relatively matched the wedding colors, or at least matched my boyfriend who had a navy tie and pocket tissue with his suit.  Win, win!  I just had to go buy a sweater to match, or match-ish.

Lastly comes this Truly Poppy Cassondra Maxi Dress, which is darker then the last maxi dress that came which was disappointing, although I'm not sure I mentioned the dress was too dark on my review when returning so, my fault.  So beside it being a bit to dark of a color to wear to a wedding, it also seemed short, or short for me.  As I've said, I don't like my legs, so I almost prefer a longer dress, but this one was just cut short, and maybe it is supposed to had to just my ankles or right above, but I want it to the floor, and it did not quite make it.

Again, you pay for what you keep and return the rest, giving feed back about price, size, style etc.
