Breakfast in Washington Square
My sister Tanya had come home for Christmas for about a week with her boyfriend. They wanted to take everyone out to breakfast one morning to their favorite place for breakfast in San Francisco called Mama's.
Mama's is in or near Washington Square, and close to that is Coit Tower, which I believe they said was about a 10 minute walk up hill or we could have hopped on the bus that was driving around, but we could see it from where we were, and I was happy with that.
We only walked a couple blocks, but it was nice to see the scenery, the architecture of the houses, and the view.
Then the food. By the time mom and I got back they were almost to the front of the line, so we made it just in time. The food was just Mmmm. Delicious. Although I do believe that mine was a little healthier then Tanya's. I think it was safe to say that we were going to try out their french toast (or at least mom and I were). Mom had the sampler french toast which had three different types of french toast. I had the banana nut french toast, and Tanya had the Chocolate Cinnamon french toast. I think the guys had some type of eggs, that's how you know I was paying attention right. The french toast was more on my mind and looking around Mama's and seeing all of the things they had hanging on the walls. Okay, I'll admit it, the wait was totally worth it for that oh so filling breakfast.

It's this quaint little breakfast and lunch place that has a good reputation and even better food. The only thing is, is that it is in a small area, and because it is well known there is almost always a line outside.
They took us out Christmas Eve morning, and even then there was a line. It was probably an hours wait depending on the size of the party and if they decide to just chill in their seats and chat for a while. So mom and I decided to do some exploring.
I'll admit that living close to San Francisco doesn't mean I go there in all of my free time, which is slightly disappointing because it is so big and there is so much to see, but that means every time I go to visit is special.
